One of the major objectives of higher education at the graduate level is to improve the research skills of students so that they can become independent researchers. Graduate students in general and students of accounting and finance management in particular are expected to be very proficient in research skills. As there has been no study on the Iranian graduate students’ research skills, this study was conducted to find out the extent to which they were familiar with professional research resources. Based on the results of this study, the main objective of this paper was to analyze the data on familiarity of these students with professional research sources. Furthermore, the paper elaborated on the factors influencing the level of familiarity. The study was conducted in the winter of 2008 on a sample of graduate students of Tehran University and Allameh Tabatabaee University. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire. Our findings indicated that the level of familiarity with research sources was very low among accounting and finance management students. Among the factors which correlated with students’ familiarity with the sources were the type of university, and level and field of education

The purpose of this article is to identify factors affecting student satisfaction with vocational training. The research method based on gathering information, is a descriptive survey. The research data have been analyzed by ttest, and Friedman analysis of variance. We use a questionnaire for data gathering. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire is measured by Cronbach's Alpha and content validity. The results of this research shows that factors affecting student satisfaction are: the quality of teaching, course design, equipment and the quality of the interaction between training staff and students. Meanwhile, factors influencing the satisfaction of the organization decisionmakers include student satisfaction, courses costs and the quality of the interaction between organization management and training staff. Organization decisionmakers as well as students are satisfied with the training services provided by the Industrial Management Institute.

Therefore, discussion about its quantitative and qualitative changes, reformation and improvement is the main subject in comprehensive and constant development. In the past decades, higher education system in China, notwithstanding its large population and the Communist government, has experienced great changes and developed a lot. Since the study of these reforms and challenges is informative for other countries, particularly Iran, this paper studied the most important reforms and challenges in China's higher education. Studies show that China's higher education experienced four main historic phases and confronted great changes during this period. Moreover, considering the various problems such as globalization, marketbased economy and opendoor policy, the country has taken significant steps toward the improvement and reformation of the higher education, the most important of which were ranking higher education institutions and accomplishing the 211 and 985 projects. China's higher education faces important challenges such as inequality in achieving higher education, graduates’ unemployment, decrease in instructional quality and demographical changes which were studied in this paper.

During the past decades, the rapid growth of information and communication technology has changed different aspects of human life. One of the important aspects of this change is education and learning. The appearance and development of information and communication technology on one hand, and the acceptance of the constructivism approach on the other hand are two basic elements of elearning. Traditional training is largely affected by elearning and a new world of learning is created. Changes in the traditional patterns of education leads to selfdirected learning, changes in the role of learners and teachers, improvement of the learning quality, reduction of education costs, and minimizing time and space limitations. Despite all of the advantages of electronic learning, professionals in education are worried about it, and its unprecedented, stunning and revolutionary speed is the important concern. One of the solutions to have more access to the benefits of electronic education and stay away from the possible hazards is designing a learning center in the elearning environment. Learning centers have individual learning environments that encourage learners to use various media for education, take responsibility for selfcentered learning, and be involved in various activities. Considering the above points, this article reviews the position of the learning center in the elearning environment and the necessity of designing it.

makers and authorities in education in the country i.e. "making use of Information and Communication Technology". Several studies have emphasized the capability to make use of information technology in teachinglearning process. The present study focused on the effect of Information and Communication Technology on educational advances among students of PeyameNoor University, Astara branch.
The present research is a semiexperimental study that was carried out on 320 students who were selected through relative classified sampling. Information gathering tools included: the inventory indicative of the amount of making use of information technology, Zimens and Pons questionnaire denoting the strategies for independent learning, and Electr et al's test denoting the strategies of stimulation for learning (MSLQ). In order to measure the amount of educational progress, end of the term average score was used. The results showed that the mean of educational progress variables, selfregulated learning, and educational stimulation among the students who were engaged in learning through ICT was greater than that of students who learned through the traditional method.

The results showed that: objectives and organizational status were relatively desirable factors. Administration and organization were desirable. Faculty member was relatively desirable. The student factor was relatively desirable. Teaching and learning process was relatively desirable. Educational courses and curriculum was desirable. The educational equipment and facilities factor was relatively desirable. The graduates factor was relatively desirable. Generally speaking, the status of the department was relatively desirable but there were some shortcomings concerning some indicators for which some suggestions were presented. benefited from according to their local, cultural and social needs in different fields and levels of education. Educational quality of distance education learners is one of the important issues for authorities of this field. The aim of this research was to compare the effects of examineoriented education with semipresent education with regard to academic achievement, satisfaction, and saving learning time among Lorestan Payame Noor University students. This research was carried out in the form of a quasiexperimental research and random sampling was used for the selection of samples from the students of general psychology course in Khoramabad Payame Noor University. 78 subjects participated in this research that 36 of them were chosen from examineoriented education course and 42 of them from semipresent
educational course. Academic achievement and a questionnaire (satisfaction and saving learning time) were used for data collection. Independent sample ttest with the significance level of p < 0.05 was used for hypothesis testing. The results showed that examineoriented students entered the university with less educational background compared to semipresent students and this fact influenced their final exam scores too. Consequently, semipresent students had higher scores. The findings didn’t show significant differences between satisfaction in both groups, but
findings indicated that with regard to saving learning time there was a significant difference at the level of p < 0.01 between these two groups.
