چکیده

اعضای هیئت‌ علمی ‌از عوامل زیر‌بنایی‌ آموزش ‌عالی هستند که توسعه‌ کیفی آنها تأثیر بسزایی بر عملکرد دانشگاه‌ها دارد. و توجه به بالندگی ‌اعضای هیئت‌ ‌علمی به‌عنوان مهم‌ترین نیروهای متخصص‌ کشور ضرورتی انکارناپذیر است. با‌ توجه به اهمیت علوم‌ پزشکی در تأمین، حفظ و ارتقای سلامت جامعه، و تحولات سریع این علوم در دهه‌های گذشته، ضرورت توجه به آموزش ‌پزشکی نوین بیش از سایر حوزه‌ها احساس می‌شود ‌و ‌توانمندسازی اعضای هیئت‌‌ علمی به عنوان یک برنامه بنیادی و با رویکردی توسعه‌ای مورد توجه قرار‌گرفته است. در این مقاله، ضمن مروری بر تجارب گذشته آموزش و بالندگی اعضای هیئت‌ علمی در علوم پزشکی و تحولاتی که این حوزه روی داده، چشم‌اندازی از نقش‌های فردای اعضای هیئت‌ علمی ترسیم شده است. همچنین چهار دهه فعالیت در آموزش و بالندگی اعضای هیئت‌ علمی در دانشگاه‌های علوم‌ پزشکی کشور، بررسی شده که تجارب آزموده‌ای را در اختیار مدیران آموزش‌عالی و سایر دانشگاه‌های کشور قرار می‌دهد.

چکیده [English]

Faculty members are important and key factors in higher education that their quality affects on universities function greatly. Knowledge accelerated movement and great changes that extent human knowledge lead to pay attention to faculty development as most important special manpower. Regard to medical sciences is important in creating, maintaining and health promoting of society and new accelerated revolution that occurs in recent decades, Attention to medical education was felt more than other area and faculty empowerment was paid attention as an underlying program with developmental Approach. In this article, with review education experience and faculty development in medical sciences and revolution that occur in this area, the view of role of faculty in the future was drawn. Also Four decades faculty development activities in medical education at universities of medical sciences give valuable experiments for higher education managers in other universities.
