Abstract

Internal Evaluation is a method for quality assessment in the higher education which is carried out through different factors, criteria and indicators. Internal Evaluation of the urban planning department of Art University during the years 2006  1999 was done through investigating the main influential factors on educational quality of the department including department mission and goals, management and organizing, academic staff, students, teaching and learning processes, educational courses and programs, education and research facilities and research conditions. The results indicate that the quality of the urban planning department is relatively desirable, but far from the ideal.
