سیستم‌‌های اطلاعات مدیریت؛ ابزاری کارآمد در برنامه‌‌ریزی توسعه آموزش عالی

چکیده

از جمله پیش‌شرط‌های تصمیم‌گیری مناسب و به موقع توسط مدیران نظام آموزش عالی، ایجاد و استقرار نظام اطلاعات مدیریت است. هدف از این تحقیق، شناسایی و توصیف نقش سیستم‌های اطلاعات مدیریت و نحوه استقرار و بکارگیری آن در برنامه‌ریزی توسعه آموزش عالی است. در این مقاله، ابتدا اهمیت، ضرورت و نحوه بکارگیری سیستم‌های اطلاعات مدیریت در برنامه‌ریزی توسعه آموزش عالی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. سپس بر اساس نتایج حاصل، مدلی مفهومی از یک سیستم اطلاعات مدیریت در نظام آموزش عالی ترسیم شده است. یافته‌های تحقیق بیانگر آن است که بکارگیری سیستم‌های اطلاعات مدیریت در آموزش عالی می‌تواند نقش تعیین کننده‌ای در بهبود امور سیاست‌گذاری، برنامه‌ریزی و اجرای برنامه‌های توسعه آموزش عالی ایفا کند. بر این اساس، پیشنهاد شده است در برنامه توسعه بخش آموزش عالی، تحقیقات و فناوری طراحی، استقرار و پیاده‌سازی سیستم‌های اطلاعات مدیریت در نظام آموزش عالی مورد توجه قرار گیرد.

چکیده [English]

The establishment of Management Information Systems is one of the perquisites for planning and proper decision making for managers in higher education. The objective of this research is to identify and express the role of Management Information Systems and the process of their establishment and application in the higher education development plan. In this paper, first, the importance, necessity and application of Management Information Systems in the higher education development plan are analyzed. Then, based on the obtained results, a conceptual model of the Management Information Systems in higher education is drawn. Research findings indicate that the application of Management Information Systems has a crucial role in the enhancement of the higher education development planning and policy making affairs. Therefore, it is proposed that Management Information Systems should be used in order to carry out the higher education development plan successfully.
