بررسی عوامل مؤثر بر تصمیم دانشجویان به تغییر رشته در دوره کارشناسی ارشد

چکیده

هدف: شناسایی و اولویت بندی عوامل موثر بر تغییر رشته دانشجویان در دوره کارشناسی ارشد به یکی از رشته­های گروه علوم انسانی.
روش پژوهش: تحقیق از نوع پسا رویدادی و با رویکرد ترکیبی اجرا شده است. در بخش کیفی تحقیق، با 12 تن از استادان، معاونین و دانشجویان تغییر رشته داده در دانشگاه تربیت مدرس، مصاحبه نیمه ساختار یافته انجام و اشباع نظری داده ها حاصل شده است. جهت استخراج عوامل از روشهای کدگذاری باز و محوری استفاده شده است. در بخش کمی تحقیق، جامعه آماری عبارت بوده است از تمامی دانشجویانی که با داشتن مدرک کارشناسی در یکی از رشته­های گروه­های تحصیلی غیر علوم انسانی، در دوره کارشناسی ارشد در سال تحصیلی 98-97 اقدام به تغییر رشته نموده­اند. در این مرحله 80 نفر از این گونه دانشجویان به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شده و به پرسش نامه طراحی شده حاصل از نتایج بخش کیفی پاسخ دادند.
یافته‌ها: 54 مفهوم اولیه و 7 دسته عامل، با عناوین علمی، فردی، شغلی، اقتصادی، تحصیلی، اجتماعی و سازمانی شناسایی شدند. گروه سنی، گروه تحصیلی، نوع دانشگاه و میانگین نمرات دانشجویان در دوره کارشناسی، فاصله زمانی بین دو دوره تحصیلی و وضعیت اشتغال، از جمله ویژگی­های فردی دانشجویان هستند که در تغییر رشته آنها در دوره کارشناسی ارشد مؤثر بوده­اند.
نتیجه‌گیری: افرادی که تغییر رشته می­دهند، به دنبال نیل به اهداف و آرمان­های فردی و جمعی خود هستند؛ آرمان­ها و اهدافی که در بستر رشته­ قبلی محقق نشده­اند.

Objective: identify and prioritize the factors affecting the change of major of students in master degree.
Methods: The research is a post-event type with a mixed approach. In the qualitative part of the research, the statistical population consisted of all professors, educational administrators as well as students who have changed majors at the master's degree. semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 professors, educational administrators and students who changed their major, at and theoretical data saturation was obtained. In the quantitative part of the research, the statistical population was all students who were educated in the undergraduate department in the non-humanities department, but in the master's degree program in 2018-19, they changed their major to one of the Humanities major of Tarbiat Modares University and have been admitted. At this stage, 80 of such students were selected as a sample and they completed a designed questionnaire which includes 39 closed questions based on a Likert five-choice range.
Results: 54 primary concepts and 7 categories of factors were identified, including scientific, personal, occupational, economic, educational, social and organizational. the Economic and scientific factors ranked as the most important factors, respectively.
Conclusion: students who change their major, seek to achieve their individual and common goals which were not achieved in the major of their previous degree.
