Presentation Model of Innovation at the University, Based on Culture of Learning and Knowledge Management

Abstract

Abstract: The present study aims at presenting a model of innovation at Semnan University, based on culture of learning and knowledge management. The research method was descriptive-correlational analysis based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study population included all non-faculty employees in Semnan University (466 people). Using Morgan, 210 people were selected randomly. Measuring tools were Standard Questionnaire, learning culture, Marsick and Watkins (2003), knowledge management questionnaire, Nonaka (1995), as well as questionnaires, organizational innovation, Chopani et al (1391). The reliability, with Cornbrach alpha, respectively were for the culture of learning (80/0), knowledge management (85/0) and organizational innovation (89/0). The results of the implementation of Pearson correlation showed that there is a significant relationship among the variables. Also hypothesis testing showed learning culture to amount (80/0) on organizational innovation, and to amount (50/0) on knowledge management positive and direct effect and also knowledge management as well as the amount (26/0) on innovation positive and direct effect. In the meantime learning culture to amount (13/0) on organizational innovation  has a positive and indirect effect.
