This study was based on causal-comparative method. The statistical population of this research included the whole students at Shiraz University. The sample size was 156 students (78 talented students that were selected by purposeful sampling and 78other students that were selected by random sampling). The behavior of plagiarism questionnaire andeffective factors on plagiarism questionnaire were used for measuring of students behavior of plagiarism and effective factors on plagiarism. Analysis of data using multivariable analysis of variance showed that in behavior of plagiarism average score of otherstudents was significantly higher than talented student(p<0/01). Moreover,in effective factors on plagiarism five subscales (attitude to plagiarism, self-efficiency, degree-seeking, lack of education, no fear of punishment) average score of other students was significantly higher than talented student(p<0/01). Also in two subscales (lack of mechanism and virtual and electronic environment) there was no significant differences between talented and normal students (p>0/05). According to the finding of this research, we can say that with increasing the knowledge and attitude of students about plagiarism and improving of their academic ability, plagiarism can be reduced.
